VViViD+ Gloss Demon Black Premium Vinyl Wrap Film 1/2ft x 5ft

I did a full body wrap on my dodge challenger in this color, and the color shift is amazing. It is very hard to tell what the color of the car is at any given time when the sun is out, however when it is not sunny it just looks black. Originally I loved that about it but now I am getting a little bored of it. But don’t let that steer you away from this wrap if you live in an area that gets tons of sun. I live in the northeast and sun is a luxury we get only 3-5 months out of the year, thus I am going to re-wrap my car in a new color, probably ultra gloss candy apple red. That being said vivid is a great company and the adhesion is great on this I’m not sure what other reviewers were mentioning but prep the surface well and it sticks that all that matters. Other then that it’s durable and the suggested life is around 5 years according to vivid, mine has been on for around a year now and everything is still perfect. I do recommend a vinyl specific ceramic coating to go on top to increase your lifespan. But regardless it’s a very good wrap and if it can wrap the corners which are a 9/10 difficulty on a challenger bumper then it can handle pretty much any other car. Highly recommend vivid, they make great vinyl

Update: So after leaving my original 1 star review Vivid reached out to me asking for more details, they think it was may be a picking mistake. Regardless of the issue they offered to replace it or refund it. No BS, just how can we make it right? This is a company that makes quality products and stands behind it. I miss the days when this was normal. But since I already love their product and now I know I can trust that if it's not right they will fix it, I have no problem recommending them and giving them 5 stars. Original review: The color change is only on the adhesive side. I love Vivid vynal wrap and used to use it all the time. I bought this to repair a table top. I was hoping it would have a touch of red or burgundy to go with the rooms black and burgundy decor. I noticed it was only black when I was inspecting the roll, but I was hoping maybe once I got it open and stretched it would look right. Then as I was stretching it over the table I noticed the adhesive side looked awesome. So I kept going thinking maybe it would show through once it was on and I looked at different angles. Nope, nothing but black at all angles and all lighting. Not sure if it's a manufacturing error or design error. But it's crap. should have just got a textured black or something. It's already cut and stretched so I can't return it.

I like the thickness of the vinyl, but I had a really hard time peeling it back once it stuck on the car. I only did the roof of the car and it took me several hours in prep And application. And it took four hands to peel and restick, even with a heat gun On a hot summer day. I liked the look of the roof once I finished but it felt like way too much effort on the easiest part of the car

Without even trying I was able to color match this just almost perfectly to a iced chocolate metallic from a BMW/mini cooper s. This vinyl is easy to work with. stretches well, heats well, repairs itself with heat.

I love the color. Definitely a bit more challenging film to install. Unfortunately the roll was only 58 inches and the first 8 or so inches of the film had damage, not 60 inches so keep that in mind when purchasing. I don't know if it what they send to Amazon as I have not purchased any rolls directly from their site but if it was their colorfusion line I would have sent it back just due to the sizing issue.

I returned the wrap. The color was nothing like the pictures show. It almost looks brown, I wanted something with red in it. I am also skeptical about the thickness. I don’t have any to compare it to, but this vinyl is thick and I’m not sure it would contour to the emblems well. I would have tried it if the color was better.

Whoever buys this and says it DOES NOT SHIFT COLOR AT ALL, go back to bed. It absolutely shifts with the right parts of the day. Yes there are some glue lines BUT the color itself is worth the purchase. Exactly what I was looking for when I switched from matte metallic black.

Color is as awesome in person as it looks on site. Order enough to make a mistake or 2. Very sticky backing and doesn't take much heat to stretch. Extra hands wi) most likely be needed or something to mount the object. Became full of over stretching. Do trial run with a sample to get an idea of how warm and how hard to stretch.
