Maternity and Women's Health Care, 10e

If I had time to actually READ it, I am sure I would love this book. I will say from skimming through it to read over specific topics, it explains and illustrates them very well. I have used it more as a supplement to my class lectures than for day to day reading.

this book is very easy to read and has lots of charts. I personally don't care for them, but most ppl in class loved them and found them to be very helpful. I love the subject so the easiness of the reading was very helpful.

Book is well written, easy to understand, in spite of the too much information that we have to cram in our brain as students. Funny but I really enjoyed it.

I thought this book was excellent at covering the maternity material. The wording wasn't too superficial and the various visuals and boxes helped with focusing the information into the nursing perspective. There were many times in my readings where I would look at the detailed nursing care plan in the text in order to really comprehend the text. I also liked how the author inserts a box in the text depicting various evidence-based practice studies and their conclusions. Overall, this book is excellent and a real keeper.

Very happy I went with this older edition vs the newer one. Compared with one of my colleagues who did buy the latest edition and the information was practically identical and most of the pictures hadn't even changed. I saved myself tons.

The book is what it is...a textbook. Its not the worst textbook I have ever had to read, but it isn't something I would read for fun. Arrived on time in the stated condition!

This book is exactly what I needed. The bookstore charges close to $70 to rent and almost $100 to buy. I don't need to own a maternity book forever so the price-$18 to rent is exactly the break I needed. Thanks Amazon!

required for school, content seems adequate, in new condition as stated however due to storage, packing or shipping the corners were bent and there were a few places along the top and bottom of the cover edge where it looked like someone smashed it with a hard object the size of a large marker or bigger. Not so happy about that. The whole reason for purchasing a new book is for it to be in new condition. Outside looks like I got it used.
