Doesn't consistently work well
In reading about these lights, I was so excited for them to arrive. I needed something to light up the sides by my fireplace. They were packaged well and arrived fast. But, sadly, I had to return these. The lights won't stay connected nor will one of the 2 bulbs change colors when adjusted with the app on my phone. When/if they do connect, you can change the colors on one, but you cannot change the colors on one of the other one, so you end up with one side one color and the other side another color. This problem is not all the time, but it is enough of the time that I cannot recommend buying them or keeping this set myself. I am uncertain if this problem pertains only to the package I got or if it is a problem many have. Either way, they are expensive and at this price, they should work as advertised.

Not compatible with new gen
Great product but I had to return it because it's not compatible with the new generation of hue products. It worked with my hue app but I had to keep switching back & forth between hubs to control all my lights. I ended up returning this but I hope they come out with a new one that's compatible.

Looks pretty- doesn't last longer than 3 weeks!
The lights were great at the start- easy to sync up and provided a really wide range of colors. Approximately 3 weeks into using them, the first light refused to connect with the bridge and would not turn on, even after unplugging. I called phillips tech support and they told me to send it back- didn't offer any suggestions on how to fix it. As I was getting ready to send the 1st one back, I tried the lights again and the second one also stopped working. Thinking this was just an odd coincidence, I did some research and found out my father's bloom lights also stopped working about a month after getting them. All that being said, Phillips has been decent about letting me return them, but it's a big headache to get them, sync them, and then have them not work. If you like the idea of these lights, stick with the regular bulbs or light strips. They seem to work MUCH better!
