I did some online searches to see if this would be an improvement over a helmet mount for mountain biking, and so far I've been really, really happy. The perspective it offers makes a GoPro video far more interesting to watch, because the perspective is closer to the ground. Be aware, if you're using this for downhill sections on a mountain bike, make sure you tilt the camera farther up (towards your chin) than you think you need to, and make sure the mounting screw is very tight. You're likely going to be off the saddle, and your chest will be hunched over your frame far more than you'll realize until you get a video with a great view of your feet and front tire (and not much else).

I look totally silly wearing this thing but it makes the camera totally hands free. I use extensions and pivots to get the camera at the right angle and height, but of course this is necessary to hold those things in the first place.

I love this gopro chest mount. It is well made and I can't tell much of a difference between this $5 version and the $40 gopro version. I would highly recommend this over the more expensive one.

Glad I had it.... hiked up the Diamond Head trail, and it was fun to watch the GoPro video later. It puts the camera in good POV for your hiking Or adventure ....my recommendation is get yours Now !!

Great. Works as described.I take my GoPro on rollercoaster with this. First perfectly and no need to be afraid as the GoPro is not going anywhere.

I had to buy an additional adapter in order to make the GoPro vertical. But other than that, it's good quality.
